Cleveland Way

Outdoors & LandscapesNatureNorth York Moors & Coast

Fancy a trip to the coast? You may recognise this lovely spot? If you'd like to enjoy the coast without being among too many people, try walking a stretch of the Cleveland Way which hugs the coastline. The 7 mile route from Robin Hoods Bay to Whitby is particularly beautiful. During the summer months places like Whitby do become crowded but the cliff paths are much less busy and have fantastic views. You could also venture down to one of the lesser known beaches such as Saltwick Bay - the steep climb back up from the bay deters a lot of visitors.

Do you have a favourite coastal spot?
