Are you nosy? Then I recommend a walk around York's ancient walls, which give you a completely different view of the city, seeing famous landmarks from another angle. If you go to York over the next few weeks, don't miss the Ghosts in the Gardens. There are 45 translucent sculptures (cleverly constructed from chicken wire!) sited in public spaces and gardens through out the city. Each of them has a story to tell and even in daylight, they are slightly eerie and look like ghosts.
